Ultimate Outsider Mention from South Carolina State Parks

Meet Glenis Redmond and her grandson, Julian. This dynamic due recently became Ultimate Outsiders at Oconee State Park!

This trek began during Glenis’ recovery from Stage III Multiple Myeloma and a stem cell transplant, in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic — a time when both she and Julian deeply needed an outlet. “Julian and I healed together in these parks. What began as an escape became a sanctuary. We finished as Ultimate Outsiders and forever changed.” said Redmond.
